Shalom u'Vrachah!

It has been a long time since I have heard anything from your honor. Surely all is well with you and yours. Nevertheless, it is a pity, and as hinted in the books: Karvu (zelazeh) Rodefei Zimah (its translation: advice of sinners; politicians in secular terms) (but those who) from Your Torah—distanced themselves (zemazeh).

Just now, a kuntres for the 12th–13th of Tammuz was published and a copy is enclosed. Regarding the topic of these days: there are several levels regarding miracles (as noted in the glosses to Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim section 218), namely: a miracle that happens to one's teacher—but the connection between teacher and student is intellectual, in Chabad. A miracle that happens to one's father—but his connection with his father is only through the garments of the soul, etc., not the essence of the soul (see writings of the Arizal quoted in Tanya chapter 2). A miracle that happens to oneself—but here one must worry lest it was deducted from one's merits (Shabbat 32a), so the joy is not complete.

Higher than all these details is a miracle that happens to one's Rebbe—for the chassid's soul is an individual part of the general soul of his Rebbe, so the joy is complete as understood.

May it be G‑d's will that we will all rejoice in the complete and general redemption through our righteous Moshiach.

With best wishes for all good things always, Rabbi Menachem Schneerson

Summary

The letter teaches that while miracles for oneself or loved ones bring joy, true completeness comes when miracles occur for one's Rebbe—reflecting deep spiritual unity. The Rebbe blesses us to experience ultimate collective redemption with Moshiach.
