במענה על ברכתו לשנה הבע"ל אשר קבלתי זה עתה, ברך לקחתי ואשיבנו לו ולביתו יחיו ברכת גמ"ח טובה לכל מילי דמיטב בטוב הנראה והנגלה.
צויתי לשלוח על ידו בשביל "טשיקאגער קוריער" עקז' אחד ונאטיץ ע"ד ה"מעסעדזש" לאנשי חיל, ובודאי יודיע תוצאות הדבר.
כאשר קבלנו נדבות מר פאלמער וכץ שי' להדפסת השיחה כתבתי לכאו"א מכ' ובתוכו איזה מרז"ל עם קצת ביאור. וכן גם עתה כותב הנני, יחד עם שלחי השיחה, שזה עתה יצאה לאור, מכ' כנ"ל.
באשר לא אשרו מר פאלמער וכץ קבלת מכ' הנ"ל, ת"ח לו מראש אם בהזדמנות הראוי' יוודע עד"ז ויודיענו.
ולקראת חה"ס הבע"ל אשר אמרז"ל (סוכה כז, ב) ראויים כל ישראל לישב בסוכה אחת, יה"ר שנזכה במהרה בימינו לקיום היעוד (יחזקאל לז, כב) ועשיתי אותם לגוי אחד גו' ועבדי דוד מלך עליהם ורועה אחד יהי' לכולם.

In response to your blessing for the upcoming year which I have just now received: I have accepted your blessing and return it to you and your household—may you all be well—with a blessing of abundant good in all matters of goodness, both visibly and tangibly.
I have instructed that an express package be sent with you for the "Chicago Courier," as well as a note regarding the "Message" for Anshei Chayil. Certainly you will inform me of the outcome.
Since we received donations from Mr. Palmer and Katz for printing the sicha, I wrote to each one a letter including some words of our Sages with brief explanation. Likewise now I am writing again—together with sending the sicha which has just been published—a similar letter as above.
Regarding whether Mr. Palmer and Katz confirmed receipt of this letter: thank you in advance if at an appropriate opportunity you will find out about this and let us know.
As we approach the upcoming festival of Sukkot—about which our Sages said (Sukkah 27b): "All Israel are worthy to sit in one sukkah"—may it be G‑d's will that we soon merit in our days the fulfillment of the prophecy (Yechezkel 37:22): "And I will make them one nation...and My servant David shall be king over them; there shall be one shepherd for all."
With blessings for a joyous festival; immediate teshuvah; immediate redemption.
