"לאלתר לתשובה, וואס דורך דעם וועט זיין לאלתר לגאולה שלמה ע"י משיח צדקנו בחסד וברחמים".
די רייד פון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר שליט"א האבען געהאט זייער פעולה. אין ברייטע קרייזען פון דער אידישער באפעלקערונג האט זיך אנגעהויבען א תשובה-באוועגונג, און פארשידענע אידישע ארגאניזאציעס האבען אוועקגעשטעלט תשובה-פראפאגאנדע אויף זייער סדר-היום.
אום צו געבן יעדען די מעגליכקייט צו באקענען זיך מיט די רייד און בריף פון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר שליט"א וועגען "לאלתר לתשובה" און "לאלתר לגאולה", דרוקען מיר דערביי א זאמלונג פון א טייל רייד און בריף פאר דער לעצטער צייט.
מיר זיינען מעורר און האפען, אז די רבנים און די בני-תורה שי' און בכלל יעדער איינער ווער עס איז א בעל-השפעה וועט, אין איינקלאנג מיט דער אויפפאדערונג פון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר שליט"א, אויסנוצען די ימי-הסליחות און עשרת ימי-תשובה אויף:
א) קלאהר מאכען, אז די איצטיגע גזירות קשות אויף אידען איז דאס די חבלי משיח;
ב) מעורר זיין יעדען צו תשובה אמיתית וחזוק בקיום התומ"צ;
ג) דערקלעהרען דעם ענין פון טהרת האויר ע"י חזרת אותיות התורה, ובפרט משניות, אומעטום וואו מען מעג ע"פ דין;
ד) זעהן אז אלע זאלן זיך איינשרייבען אין חברות תהלים, וועלכע, איינשליסענדיג זיך אין דער חברת תהלים העולמית בירושלים תובב"א, וועלען זיך אזוי ארום באטייליגען אין איהר תפלה בעד כלל ישראל.

Soon after your arrival in America two and a half years ago, the Previous Rebbe, may he live and be well, began tireless work to awaken American Jews to teshuvah, Torah, and good deeds—to clarify that the harsh decrees upon Jews are the birth pangs of Moshiach, and that there is one salvation: "immediate teshuvah," through which will come immediate complete redemption through our righteous Moshiach with kindness and mercy. The words of the Previous Rebbe have had great effect. In broad circles of the Jewish population a teshuvah movement has begun, and various Jewish organizations have established teshuvah campaigns as part of their agenda.
To give everyone the opportunity to become familiar with the words and letters of the Previous Rebbe regarding "immediate teshuvah" and "immediate redemption," we are printing here a collection of some talks and letters from recent times.
We urge and hope that rabbis, bnei Torah (may they live), and in general anyone who is an influencer will—in accordance with the call of the Previous Rebbe—utilize the Days of Selichos and Ten Days of Teshuvah for: a) clarifying that the current harsh decrees on Jews are birth pangs of Moshiach; b) awakening everyone to true teshuvah and strengthening observance of Torah and mitzvos; c) explaining the concept of purifying the air through reciting words of Torah by heart, especially Mishnayos, wherever permitted by halachah; d) ensuring all enroll in Tehillim societies, which—by joining with the worldwide Tehillim society in Jerusalem—will thus participate in its prayer on behalf of all Israel.
