בנועם באגריס איך און גיב א ברכה מקרב ולב צו אלע אנטיילנעמער אין דער חגיגת ישיבות תומכי-תמימים ליובאוויטש בארצות הברית וואס שוין מיט אייער אנוועזנהייט דא אליין - דריקט איר אויס אייער וואונש און רצון צו האבן דעם גרויסן זכות פון געבן און פארזעצן אייער הילף צום מרכז הישיבות תומכי-תמימים.
אלע אמעריקאנער אידן, וועלכע קוקן מיט אפענע אויגן און ווארעמען אינטערעס אויף דעם אידישן מצב אין לאנד, אנערקענען דעם אומבאשרייבליכן גרויסן אויפטו וואס כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע האט געלייסטעט אין אמעריקע מיט זיין ארבעט בכלל, און דורך זיינע ישיבות בפרט.
די שטארקע און טיפע ווירקונג וועלכע די ישיבות תומכי-תמימים איבן אויס אויף דעם אמעריקאנער אידישן לעבן, און דער מוסטער פון מסירת נפש פאר אידישקייט וואס די מחונכים פון דיזע ישיבות ווייזן ארויס - איז אן אלגעמיין אנערקענטער פאקט.
דער מרכז הישיבות לעבט איבער א שווערן מאטעריעלן קריזיס וועלכער, ניט נאר באשוועריקט ער די העכסט נויטיקע אויסברייטערונג פון די ישיבות, נאר ער שטעלט אויך, חלילה, אין געפאר די שוין עקזיסטירנדע מוסדות.
ס'איז באוואוסט די גרויסקייט פון דער מצוה פון צדקה. אפט מאל אבער מאכט מען חשבונות אויף באגרענצן די נתינת הצדקה מצד פארשידענע טעמים.
די ישיבות תומכי תמימים מוז אנערקענט ווערן אז זיי זיינען פון די וויכטיקסטע פאקטארן, פון וועלכע ס'איז אפהענגיק דער קיום ניט נאר פון לימוד התורה ביראת שמים אליין - וואס דאס פאר זיך איז א עיקר און יסוד פון קיום עם ישראל - נאר אויך פון אידישן פרטיות'דיקן און געזעלשאפטליכן לעבן, וועלכע מוזן באאיינפלוסט ווערן פון רוח היהדות והתורה. בא פראבלעמען פון אזא לעבנסוויכטיקייט פאלן אפ די טעמים פון באגרענצונגען און אויסרעכנונגען אין דער הילף וועלכע מוז אומבאדינגט געגעבן ווערן.
איך האף און וויל זיכער זיין, אז איר אלע, פריינט פון די ישיבות תומכי תמימים, וועט מאכן די גרעסטע אנשטרענגונג און געבן די מאקסימום הילף, כדי צו דעקן די דעפיציטן פון מרכז הישיבות תומכי-תמימים און געבן די מעגלעכקייט אנצוגיין ווייטער מיט זייער ארבעט.
דער אויבערשטער בלייבט ניט קיין בעל-חוב, און זיכער וועט ער אלעמען, וועלכע וועלן ערפילן זייער חוב, העלפן אין אלעס וואס זיי דארפן.
איך פארענדיק מיין ווענדונג מיט דברי הרב, הוא כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, אין זיין לעצטן בריוו צו די אנטיילנעמער פון דעם יערליכן דינער פון ישיבות תומכי-תמימים ליובאוויטש אין יאר השי"ת, וזה לשונו (איבערזעצט אין אידיש):
השי"ת זאל שטארקן אייער אלעמענס געזונט און געבן אייך אלעמען גוטע פרנסה בהרחבה, און מיר אלע און אונזערע בני בית יחיו זאלן זוכה זיין בהרמת קרן התורה וקרן ישראל סבא ולגאולה קרובה דורך משיח צדקנו, ער זאל אונז פירן קוממיות לארצנו הקדושה בב"א.

To the participants in the twelfth annual celebration of Yeshivos Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch in the United States, may G‑d be upon you all.
Shalom u'Vrachah!
With pleasure I greet and give a heartfelt blessing to all participants in the celebration of Yeshivos Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch in the United States. Your very presence here expresses your desire and will to merit the great privilege of giving and continuing your support to the central Tomchei Temimim Yeshivos.
All American Jews who look with open eyes and warm interest at the Jewish situation in this country recognize the indescribably great accomplishment that my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), achieved in America through his work in general and especially through his yeshivos.
The strong and deep impact that the Tomchei Temimim yeshivos have on American Jewish life, and the model of self-sacrifice for Judaism shown by those educated in these yeshivos, is a universally recognized fact.
The central yeshiva is experiencing a severe material crisis which not only hinders the much-needed expansion of the yeshivos but also, G‑d forbid, endangers the existing institutions themselves.
The greatness of the mitzvah of tzedakah is well known. Often people make calculations to limit their giving for various reasons. The Tomchei Temimim yeshivos must be recognized as among the most important factors upon which not only Torah study with awe of Heaven depends—which itself is a foundation for Jewish existence—but also individual and communal Jewish life, which must be influenced by the spirit of Judaism and Torah.
In issues so vital to life itself, all reasons for limiting or calculating one's help fall away; assistance must absolutely be given.
I hope and am confident that all of you—friends of Tomchei Temimim—will make every effort and give maximum support to cover the deficits of the central Tomchei Temimim yeshiva and enable them to continue their work.
The Alm-ghty never remains indebted; surely He will help all those who fulfill their obligation in everything they need.
I conclude my address with words from my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), from his last letter to participants at this annual dinner: "May Hashem strengthen everyone's health and grant you all ample livelihood. May we all—and our families—merit an elevation of Torah's honor and Israel's pride, and a speedy redemption through Moshiach Tzidkeinu. May he lead us upright to our holy land soon."
