Nothing Stands in the Way of Teshuvah and the Power of Resolve

[ה'תשל"ג]
The Rebbe writes that nothing stands in the way of teshuvah. The essence of teshuvah is a firm resolution not to repeat past mistakes, which naturally brings regret for the past. With G-d's help, teshuvah is possible and depends solely on one's will.

Shalom u'Vrachah!

There is nothing that stands in the way of teshuvah. Its main aspect is a good resolution for the future not to return to folly, etc. (and consequently—regret for the past).

Seemingly, Hashem helps a person to do teshuvah, and it depends only on the person's will.

I will mention this at the Tziyun.

Summary

The Rebbe teaches that sincere teshuvah is always possible with a strong resolve for the future and regret for the past. Success in teshuvah depends on one's will, aided by Hashem's help.
