רבנו הזקן שהם ממשיכים אחד (וקדושה) אפילו בענינים ארציים, וכל זה מיוסד על קדושת התורה שהיא תורת אמת, שזה שולל כל עניני פשרות. ובכל זה הרי אסור להעריך הכוחות בפחות ממה שהם לאמיתתם, וכדברי

Shalom u'Vrachah!
Surely my previous letter with its enclosure has been received. In the meantime, I received a report from our mutual friends among Anash who visited you. It is understood that hearing something is not the same as reading a letter directly from you. May it be G‑d's will that the content will be good in an obviously revealed way.
Now I am writing because we are between Chai Elul and Rosh Hashanah, to wish you, your wife, and your entire family a blessing for being inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year, with honor and esteem.
Although it is not my usual practice, I am enclosing here a copy of my general letter for Rosh Hashanah to the Baal (since its content is also a continuation of what we discussed here in person on the festival of redemption Yud-Beis Tammuz)—about the great opportunities given to every single Jew, and all the more so to one whom Divine Providence has elevated from among the people, especially after the removal of limiting and bothersome technicalities. Then one is truly given both permission and ability to influence beyond all boundaries and limitations.
If I recall correctly, we also spoke then that you should do everything possible so that all visitors turn directly to you without any formalities or office protocols etc., and that you should influence them in essential and good matters—especially those connected with the holiness of the Land (about which it is said: "the eyes of Hashem are upon it from the beginning of the year until year's end")—and about the holiness of the people (who are "a holy nation in the land" and "one nation in the land"), as explained by Rabbeinu HaZaken that they draw down Oneness (and holiness) even into earthly matters. All this is based on the holiness of Torah—which is Torah of truth—which rejects any form of compromise.
In all this, one must not underestimate one's abilities; as my father-in-law, the Rebbe says: 'Just as one must know one's own shortcomings, one must also know one's own strengths.'
May it be G‑d's will that very soon I will receive good news regarding all this as well.
Summary
The Rebbe encourages using one's full strengths to positively impact others without self-imposed limitations, especially in matters of holiness related to Eretz Yisrael and Am Yisrael. He blesses for a good year and stresses recognizing both our strengths and responsibilities.
