שבעיר העתיקה להכנס ולגור ברובע היהודי שבעיר העתיקה ירושלים ת"ו. ויהי רצון שיהי' בשעה טובה ומוצלחת.
וכיון שמתפלל בבית כנסת זה שנקרא על שם כ"ק אדמו"ר הצמח צדק, והרי

מלתא הוא, שהיא נחלת הצמח צדק לדורות, בגשמיות ועל אחת כמה וכמה ברוחניות, וכשמתפללים בבית כנסת זה, הכולל החצר והשייך לה, הרי נמצאים ברשות אדמו"ר הצמח צדק, שהי' מנהיג ומורה צדק לדורו ולכל הדורות אחריו, ובפרט על ידי הפסקי דינים שלו, המורים ומאירים לארץ והדרים עלי' עד היום הזה,
תקותי חזקה שיעשה כל התלוי בו, בחשבון צדק שהוא לפי רצונו של אדמו"ר הצמח צדק, הן בהנהגה בחיי היום-יום והן במעשים ובפעולות להחזקת כל עניני בית הכנסת בגשמיות וברוחניות, אשר ממנו יראו וכן יעשו כל אלה שיזכו להתיישב בירושלים מוקפת חומה ת"ו, בידעם נאמנה הוראת

ז"ל אשר השם ירושלים מורה על יראה - שלם, יראת ה' בשלימות, והקב"ה עוזר לכאו"א ובפרט בירושלים עיר קדשנו.

It was with pleasure that I received your letter in which you write that with G‑d's help you merited to be among the first worshippers at the tzt"z synagogue in the Old City and to move and live in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem. May it be G‑d's will that this should be at a good and successful time.
Since you pray in this synagogue named after our holy Rebbe, the tzt"z—and this is not a coincidence, for it is an inheritance of the tzt"z for generations both physically and all the more so spiritually—when one prays in this synagogue, including its courtyard and all that belongs to it, one is within the domain of Admor tzt"z, who was a leader and righteous guide for his generation and all generations after him. Especially through his halachic rulings which continue to illuminate for Eretz Yisrael and its inhabitants until today.
I have strong hope that you will do everything within your power with honest accounting according to the will of Admor tzt"z—both in daily conduct and in actions supporting all matters of the synagogue physically and spiritually—so that others who merit settling in Jerusalem surrounded by its wall will see your example and do likewise. This is with faithful adherence to our Sages' teaching that the name "Jerusalem" indicates "Yirah-Shalem," complete awe (of G‑d), perfect awe of Hashem; and Hashem helps everyone, especially in Jerusalem our holy city.
Blessings for good material and spiritual settlement together; as we approach Zman Matan Torateinu—in the traditional wording used at Beit HaRav—for receiving the Torah with joy and inwardness.
