Shalom u'Vrachah!
Every single person is present in this world according to the will of Hashem and His mission: to do good in the world. Therefore, Hashem commanded 'uShmartem Meod leNafshoteichem' (and certainly He gave all the necessary strengths to fulfill the mission and guard oneself).
From this it is understood that the yetzer hara tries to confuse and prevent one from this. But it is obvious—the preciousness and merit are in fulfilling Hashem's mission and not being affected by the yetzer hara.
I will mention at the Tziyun.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that each person is sent into this world with a Divine mission to do good, fully empowered by Hashem. The yetzer hara may try to distract us, but our true merit lies in steadfastly fulfilling our purpose.
