[A] — To publish both — as discussed last night. Shalom u'Vrachah! Is there any interest in S. of Teitelbaum (regarding the Alter Rebbe) and Marcus?
[B] If possible, to publish before R.H. HaBaal (after another round of editing).
[C] In summary, this is not relevant to the matter discussed because we do not find that anyone disagrees with him. It is surprising that one would bring his sustenance from afar. In the Rambam's own responsa mentioned above, it is explained at length (and was discussed at the farbrengen) that this is why Rabbi Moshe ben Shem Tov Garon says that inheritance is for our ancestors. The explanation of the question is simple: the Rambam explains that on the contrary — do not consider your lineage insignificant (from our lineage); rather, it is even more elevated for one who said and brought the world into being.
Summary
This letter addresses publishing logistics and clarifies that according to the Rambam, one's lineage should be valued and seen as elevated by virtue of its Divine origin.
