במיוחד נתרשמתי מאות הכבוד שהנחילה עירית נתני', ובראשה כבוד מעלתו, לתנועתנו, תנועת חב"ד, בקראם אחד מרחובות העיר בשם "רחוב חב"ד".
והרי זהו ביטוי מתאים ביותר לההכרה והאהדה שכ' ובני עירו רוחשים לפעולות חב"ד בשטח החינוך והפצת ערכי עמנו המקודשים, בארצנו הקדושה ובתפוצות, מתוך אהבה המשולשת – אהבת ה', אהבת התורה ואהבת ישראל, שהן כולי

– והוא יסוד השקפת עולמה של תורת החסידות בכלל ותורת חב"ד בפרט.

With pleasure and heartfelt thanks I received your telegram of congratulations in connection with my birthday. I was especially impressed by the honor that the municipality of Netanya, under your esteemed leadership, has bestowed upon our movement, the Chabad movement, by naming one of the city's streets "Chabad Street." This is a most fitting expression of the recognition and affection that you and your city's residents feel toward Chabad's activities in the field of education and spreading our sacred national values—both in our holy land and throughout the diaspora—motivated by the threefold love: love of G‑d, love of Torah, and love of Israel. These are all one and form the foundation of the worldview taught by Chassidus in general and Chabad in particular.
I have already stated regarding such matters: May those who bless be blessed by G‑d, the source of blessings, according to His promise to Avraham Avinu—VeAvarecha Mevarechecha ("I will bless those who bless you")—from His full, open, holy, and generous hand, both materially and spiritually.
