ימי חנוכה הבאים לקראתינו לטובה, שמצותם העיקרית היא מצות הדלקת נר חנוכה ובאופן דמוסיף והולך מוסיף ואור, יוסיף כל אחד ואחד מאתנו בהפצת נר מצוה ותורה אור בכל ג' הנקודות דמצות נר חנוכה:
משתשקע החמה
– היינו שלא להתפעל כי החושך יכסה ארץ, ואדרבה,
על פתח ביתו
מבחוץ
– היינו להאיר ולקרב גם אלה שעדיין עומדים בחוץ,
מוסיף והולך
בנר ואור מיום ליום.
והרי זה צנור וכלי לקבלת ברכות ה' באופן דמוסיף והולך, הן בעניניו הפרטיים והן בעניניו הכלליים, שאצל יהודי בכלל ואצל עסקן ציבורי בפרט, עולים בד בבד.
בברכה לימי חנוכה מאירים ולבשורות טובות בכל האמור.

Thank you for your attention in sending the olive oil.
May it be G‑d's will that, as is the directive of the upcoming days of Chanukah—whose main mitzvah is lighting the Chanukah candle in a manner of increasing and adding light—each one of us should increase in spreading the "ner mitzvah v'Torah or" (the candle of mitzvah and the light of Torah) in all three aspects of the mitzvah of Chanukah candles: from sunset—that is, not to be affected by the fact that darkness covers the earth; on the contrary; at the entrance to one's house outside—that is, to illuminate and draw close even those who are still outside; increasing day by day in candlelight and illumination.
This serves as a channel and vessel to receive Hashem's blessings in an ever-increasing manner, both in one's personal matters and communal matters—which for a Jew in general, and especially for one involved in public service, go hand-in-hand.
With blessings for an illuminating Chanukah and for good tidings in all mentioned above.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that by increasing our efforts to spread Torah and mitzvot—especially during Chanukah—we become vessels for ever-growing blessings from Hashem, benefiting both our private lives and our communal responsibilities.
