Although there is certainly effort involved, and perhaps even discomfort and so on connected to this matter, I have no choice in this regard, so that things will proceed in a good direction and pleasantly. Therefore, necessity compels me to send to your honor the attached letters herewith. Surely you will find a way to invite all those mentioned in the letters to you, as well as others you deem appropriate, and see to it that the letters are read before them, etc.
And my strong hope is that they will not consider side reasons or arguments; rather, each one will accept upon himself to act and work in his committee—as stated in the aforementioned letters—with dedication and giving spirit, and in a manner of increasing in holiness. And your honor himself should also not be deterred by the effort involved in all of the above and in your appointment at the kollel; surely they will not burden you with office matters and so forth.
As we come from Simchas Torah, may it be a year of joy imbued with Torah in general and Chabad teachings in particular, permeated with triple love: love of G‑d, love of Torah, and love of Israel—until "Ve'ahavta l'reiacha kamocha" (and you shall love your fellow as yourself).
