והרי מוכרח הדבר שתומשכנה כל הפעולות הכי נעלות וחשובות של כולל זה – מיסודם של כ"ק רבותינו נשיאינו זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע,
תקותי חזקה אשר תומשך ההנהלה על ידי ועד אשר חבריו רשומים מטה. ובודאי אשר כל אחד מהם, מבלי התחשב עם הטרחא וכו' שאפשר שתהי' קשורה בזה, יפעול בהועד ובמסירה המתאימה לרצון מייסדי הכולל כ"ק רבותינו נשיאינו, אשר דברי צדיקים ופעולותיהם נמשכים וקיימים ונצבים.
ויעמוד בראש הועד מזקני רבני אנ"ש אשר בירושלים תובב"א, הרה"ג והרה"ח וכו' הרש"י שליט"א זוין. ואתו עמו מגזע רבותינו נשיאינו הרה"ח וכו'

To the leadership of Kolel Chabad in Jerusalem, the Holy City, in the Holy Land – may G‑d be upon them and grant them life.

In connection with the passing of Sh B Haraha"g veHaraha"ch vavac"h iy"a nu"n, a man of many deeds, energetic and possessing fine character traits, a branch of a tree of ancestors—the righteous memory for a blessing—there is an absolute necessity that all the most elevated and important activities of this Kolel—founded by our holy Rebbeim—continue. My strong hope is that the administration will continue through a committee whose members are listed below.
Certainly each one of them, regardless of any inconvenience or effort that may be involved, will act on the committee with devotion appropriate to the will of the founders—our holy Rebbeim—whose words and actions endure and stand firm. Heading the committee should be one of the elder rabbis among Anash in Jerusalem, Haraha"g veHaraha"ch etc. Harashi shlita Zoin. Together with him from the lineage of our Rebbeim: Haraha"ch etc. Harash Menachem Mendel Schneersohn; and as representative for those who immigrated from our country who has settled in Jerusalem: Haraha"ch etc. Eliezer Nanas.
My strong hope, as mentioned above, is that each and every one listed below will accept upon himself this matter—even if it involves effort and labor—and may the desire of Hashem succeed through their hands. And as per the blessings of our holy Rebbeim, as given orally, in writing, and in print—each one in his generation.
With abundant blessings for success in all mentioned above,—
Awaiting good news, and may Hashem repair breaches among His people Israel; from now on may only good be inscribed for Israel—good that is visible and revealed to all; may every Jew write to his fellow only good things.
