זה עתה קיבלתי מכתבכם, ויתן השי"ת שהסתדרותכם בארץ ישראל תהי' בהצלחה בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד. במיוחד בעיקר – לרוות נחת אמיתית מכל אחד מהילדים ומכולם יחד, נחת אמיתית בהתאם לתורתנו הנצחית, לפי פירוש והארת תורת החסידות. ומסירת הנפש שהיתה לכם שם ולילדיכם תוסיף את ברכת ה' בכל הנכתב לעיל.
אני מקוה שבהיותכם במצב שאין צורך במסירת נפש, כל אחד מכם וכל הבאים משם וכל איש ישראל בכל מקום המצאו, יוסיפו במסירותם למסורת היהודית בחיי היום יום.
מה שכתבתם אודות מקום מגורים, הי' טוב אם ילדיכם יקדישו שנתיים בערך ללימוד התורה, כדי להשלים במידת היכולת, וגם – וגם זה חשוב – כדי להוות דוגמא לדור הצעיר בארץ ישראל ובכל העולם עד כמה התורה יקרה בעינינו. ומן הסתם מידע זה יגיע גם לשם ויוסיף התעוררות במסירות שלהם ושל חבריהם ומכריהם.
בהתאם לכך, עוד יותר הגיוני שתתיישבו בנחלת הר חב"ד, מה גם ששם שאלת מקום מגורים יותר קלה לפתרון בכל המובנים.

Blessings for a good settlement and good news in all matters mentioned and for true chassidic nachas from each and every member of your household.
P.S. At an auspicious time I will mention everyone at the resting place of my father-in-law the Rebbe.
[Free translation] I have just received your letter. May Hashem grant that your settlement in Eretz Yisrael will be successful both materially and spiritually. Especially and primarily—that you derive true nachas from each of your children and from all of them together; true nachas according to our eternal Torah as illuminated by the teachings of Chassidus. The self-sacrifice you had there for yourselves and your children will add to Hashem's blessing in all the above.
I hope that now that you are in a situation where self-sacrifice is not required, each of you, all those who came from there, and every Jew wherever he may be, will increase their dedication to Jewish tradition in daily life.
Regarding what you wrote about a place to live: it would be good if your children dedicated about two years to Torah study—to complete as much as possible—and also—and this is important—to serve as an example for the younger generation in Eretz Yisrael and throughout the world as to how precious Torah is to us. This information will surely reach there too and inspire greater dedication among them and their friends and acquaintances.
Accordingly, it makes even more sense for you to settle in Nachalat Har Chabad—especially since there the question of housing is easier to resolve in every respect.
