די יערלעכע חגיגה קומט פאָר געציילטע טעג נאָך ל"ג בעומר. איינע פון די הויפּט נקודות פון ל"ג בעומר איז וואָס אין דעם
טאָג
האָט זיך אָפּגעשטעלט די ניט-גוטע פּאַסירונג מיט די תלמידים פון רבי עקיבא.
די סיבה
וואָס האָט געבראַכט צו דער ניט-גוטער פאַסירונג –
ווי
ערקלערט באריכות באַ אַן אַנדער געלעגנהייט – איז געווען דאָס וואָס די באַציאונג פון די תלמידים איינער צום צווייטן איז ניט געווען אויף דער נויטיגער הויך, ווי דאָס האָט געדאַרפט זיין באַ אַזעלכע גרויסע תלמידים פון אַזאַ גרויסן תנא.
און וויבאַלד אַז עס האָט געפעלט אין דעם געביט פון בין אדם לחברו, איז אַ סימן אַז עס האָט געפעלט אין דעם חינוך פון בין אדם למקום.
אין די דאָזיגע טעג פון ספירה, וועלכע זיינען אַ הכנה צו קבלת התורה, ווערט אין דער פּאַסירונג מיט די תלמידים פון רבי עקיבא אונטערשטראָכן דאָס וואָס איז קלאָר אָנגעדייטעט אין די עשרת הדברות:

קען זיין
"כבד
את אביך ואת אמך" און אַלע אַנדערע ענינים פון בין אדם לחברו ווי עס באַדאַרף צו זיין – ווען עס איז פריער דאָ די אַנערקענונג און קבלת עול פון
"אנכי
ה' אלקיך" און "לא יהי' לך אלקים אחרים" אַלס יסוד פון דער הנהגה אין טאָג-טעגלעכן לעבן.
דאָס קומט שולל צו זיין די פאַלשע דיעה פון די וועלכע מיינען, אַז די באַציאונג צווישן מענטש און מענטש, די אַזוי-גערופענע מאָראַל און עטיק, איז ניט אָפּהענגיק פון תורה-חינוך.
דער מוסד חינוך "אהלי תורה" צילט איינצופלאַנצן אין די קינדער אַ חינוך על טהרת הקודש באַגרינדעט אויף שלמות אין אידישקייט, וואו בין אדם למקום און בין אדם לחברו גייען צוזאַמען. אַזאַ חינוך פאַרזיכערט, אַז זיי זאָלן אויסוואַקסן גוטע אידן און גאַנצע אידן אין אַלע הינזיכטן, וועלכע זאָלן זיין אַ לעבעדיגער ביישפּיל פאַר אַנדערע און אַן אונערשעפּלעכער קוואַל פון אידישע נחת, תורה-נחת, פאַר זייערע עלטערן און פאַר כלל ישראל.
דער מוסד פאַרדינט דעריבער די פולסטע שטיצע, און דער זכות פון אויפהאַלטן אַזאַ מוסד חינוך על טהרת הקודש וועט זיכער ביישטיין אַלע שטיצער און מיטאַרבעטער געבענטשט צו ווערן פון אויבערשטן בכל המצטרך, בפרט מיט אמת'ע תורה-נחת פון די אייגענע קינדער, מתוך הרחבה בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
The annual celebration comes just a few days after Lag BaOmer. One of the main points of Lag BaOmer is that on this day the negative occurrence with Rabbi Akiva's students ceased. The reason for this negative event—as explained at length elsewhere—was that the relationship between the students was not at the necessary level expected of such great students of such a great Tanna.
And since there was a lack in the area of bein adam lechavero (between man and his fellow), it is a sign that there was also a lack in their education regarding bein adam laMakom (between man and G‑d). In these days of Sefirah, which are a preparation for receiving the Torah, the episode with Rabbi Akiva's students underscores what is clearly indicated in the Aseres HaDibros: one can truly honor "Kabed es Avicha v'es Imecha" (Honor your father and mother) and all other matters between man and his fellow as they should be—only when there is first recognition and acceptance of "Anochi Hashem Elokecha" (I am Hashem your G‑d) and "Lo Yihiyeh Lecha Elohim Acheirim" (You shall have no other gods) as the foundation of daily conduct.
This refutes the mistaken view held by some who think that relationships between people—the so-called morality and ethics—are not dependent on Torah education. The Oholei Torah educational institution aims to instill in children an education al taharas hakodesh (in purity and holiness), based on completeness in Judaism, where bein adam laMakom and bein adam lechavero go hand in hand.
Such an education ensures that they will grow up to be good Jews and complete Jews in every respect, serving as living examples for others and an inexhaustible source of Jewish nachas, Torah nachas, for their parents and for all of Klal Yisrael. Therefore, this institution deserves full support, and the merit of sustaining such an institution al taharas hakodesh will surely stand by all supporters and collaborators to be blessed by the Almighty with all they need—especially with true Torah nachas from their own children—with abundance both materially and spiritually together.
