I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 22nd of Teves, with its enclosure, as well as two booklets on Chassidus. Thank you very much for your effort in sending them here.
At an auspicious time I will mention your brother and those he is connected with, as appropriate to your letter. May you have good news to report about this, especially as we approach a special day—Yud Shevat—the yahrzeit of the holy Rebbe, whose merit and connection are known to all our brethren in that country, particularly to those who continue in his ways and fulfill his will. As I have heard, your brother is exemplary in this regard.
May Hashem grant that just as you have conveyed this request, so may you be able to share good news about it—up to meeting personally with joy and gladness of heart together with your brother and those connected with him.
