Shalom u'Vrachah! I have just received your two books on contemporary issues and times. Thank you for your attention in sending them, and presumably you will continue to do so in the future—especially since our books are for the benefit of the many.
May it be G‑d's will that you increase your strength in Torah study for many years—long and good years—and in spreading Torah, the Torah of truth, which by definition rejects all compromise. If it was always necessary to emphasize this point, how much more so in our generation—a generation confused and overturned with a frightening blurring of values—especially now during Ikvesa d'Meshicha (the footsteps of Mashiach), as it is sometimes wittily said that some people are especially meticulous about fulfilling the signs of Ikvesa d'Meshicha with extra vigor and strength.
My letter in response to your previous letter was surely received by now. Unfortunately, developments over these past weeks have only reinforced the report and concern I wrote about then.
May it be G‑d's will that at least there will be no need for debate or defense from our own brothers regarding Jerusalem Ir HaKodesh (the Holy City), and that—as you wrote on your book's title page—Jerusalem will be truly liberated: true liberation and freedom, so she fulfills her prophetic destiny: "and the word of G‑d from Jerusalem."
With blessings related to these days—that they should be transformed into joy and happiness very soon—and with good tidings.
