תורה, וואָס איז גילטיג פאַר אַלע צייטן און אַלע לענדער, בפרט אין דער איצטיגער צייט און אין דעם דאָזיגען לאַנד, אַז דער קיום פון אידישן פאָלק און די גאַנצקייט פון דער אידישער היים און די פאַרזיכערונג אַז די אידישע קינדער וועלן בלייבן שטאָלצע און באַוואוסטזיניגע אידן, איז אינגאַנצן אָפּהענגיק פון אַ דורכדרינגלעכן תורה-טרייען אידישן חינוך, אָן פשרות און אָן פאַרוואַסערונג.
די ישיבה תומכי-תמימים ליובאַוויטש, וועלכע האָט אַ לאַנג-יאָריגע טראַדיציע פון חינוך הכשר על טהרת הקודש, דורכגעדרונגען מיט אהבת השם און יראת השם און אהבת ישראל, און האָט ב"ה מצליח געווען אויפצושטעלן דורות שטאָלצע, באַוואוסטזיניגע אידן, מיט אַ געפיל פון אחריות און מסירת נפש פאַר אַ צווייטן אידן – מאַכט איצט צוגרייטונגען צו איר יערלעכע פייערונג.
איך וויל האָפן, אַז אַלע חובבי תורה, און בפרט די עסקנים און פריינד פון דער ישיבה, וועלן מאַכן יעדע אָנשטרענגונג צו פאַרזיכערן דעם דערפאָלג פון דער אונטערנעמונג, פינאַנציעל און גייסטיג.
בשכר זה וועט השי"ת זיי און זייערע בני-בית שיחיו מצליח זיין אין זייערע אייגענע ענינים, בפרט – אמת'ע אידישע נחת פון זייערע קינדער און אייניקלעך שיחיו, בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
The upcoming yahrzeit-hilulah of the Alter Rebbe, author of Tanya and Shulchan Aruch, this week is an opportune time to once again recall his well-known saying: A Jew must live with the times—with the Torah time that is filled with the content and spirit of the weekly parsha.
The parsha Shemos begins by emphasizing the names of the children of Israel who came to Egypt—Ve'eleh Shemos Bnei Yisrael HaBa'im Mitzraymah ("And these are the names of the children of Israel who came to Egypt"). With this, the holy Torah teaches us that when Jews enter Egypt—a land where the way of life and worldview are contrary to Jewish spirit and path—the very first thing is to ensure that children do not forget who they are and who their ancestors were; they must always know and remember that they are Bnei Yisrael, Jewish children—the children of Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov; Sarah, Rivkah, Rachel, and Leah (as hinted in the word Yisra'el), who proudly bear their Jewish names and conduct themselves daily so it is immediately recognizable that they are Jewish children—Reuven, Shimon, Levi, Yehudah etc.
This can only be achieved when children receive a deeply rooted Jewish education that gives them strength to remain a distinct entity—a people unto themselves—even under the harshest trials of Egyptian exile. This is what guarantees that we will leave Egypt with all our children—sons and daughters—whole and proud Jews. As our Sages say: with the same names with which they entered Egypt did they also leave Egypt.
This is an eternal lesson from our eternal Torah—valid for all times and all lands—especially in our present era and in this country: The survival of our people, wholeness of our homes, and assurance that our children will remain proud and conscious Jews depends entirely on a thorough Torah-true Jewish education without compromise or dilution.
The Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch Yeshiva—with its long-standing tradition of pure education imbued with love and awe of Hashem as well as Ahavas Yisrael—and which has thank G‑d succeeded in raising generations of proud Jews with a sense of responsibility and self-sacrifice for another Jew—is now preparing for its annual celebration.
I hope that all lovers of Torah—and especially those active on behalf of or friends with the yeshiva—will make every effort to ensure this event's success both financially and spiritually. In this merit may Hashem grant them and their families success in their own affairs—especially true Jewish nachas from their children and grandchildren—in both materiality and spirituality together.
