אַזוי ווי די יערלעכע מלוה מלכה פאַר בית רבקה קומט הייאָר פאָר געציילטע טעג נאָך דעם טאָג פון הסתלקות (יאָרצייט) פון דעם גרינדער פון בית רבקה, כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, איז ספּעציעל צייטלעך צו דערמאָנען זיינעם אַ וואָרט, וואָס האָט בשעתו – און ביז היינט – געשאַפן אַ ווענדפּונקט אין דעם מצב פון אידישקייט אין דעם לאַנד.

איז דאָך איבעריג מאריך צו זיין וועגן דער וויכטיקייט און נויטווענדיקייט פון די בית רבקה מוסדות פאַר אידישע טעכטער, און וועגן דעם גרויסן זכות וואָס יעדער איינער פון אייך, עסקנים און פריינט פון בית רבקה, האָט אין שטיצן די דאָזיגע מוסדות און העלפן פאַרשטאַרקן און אויסברייטערן זיי. וואָס דאָס איז אויך אַ "כלי" צו באַקומען דעם אויבערשטנ'ס ברכות אין אַלץ וואָס מ'דאַרף, אידישע נחת פון קינדער, געזונד און פרנסה בהרחבה, בגשמיות וברוחניות.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
To the activists and friends of the Beis Rivka schools in general, and to the participants in the annual Melaveh Malkah in particular—may Hashem be upon you for life—greetings and blessings!
Just as this year's annual Melaveh Malkah for Beis Rivka takes place only a few days after the yahrzeit (anniversary of passing) of the founder of Beis Rivka, my father-in-law the Admor zatzal (of blessed memory), it is especially timely to recall his statement which at its time—and until today—created a turning point in the state of Judaism in this country.
Immediately upon his arrival in America in the year 5700 (1940), when my father-in-law revealed his G‑dly mission in this land—to make America a place of Torah and fear of Heaven—he was asked: "But this is America; it’s not like back home!" My father-in-law replied: "America is no different; regarding Torah and mitzvos, America is not an exception!"
This statement is particularly significant for Jewish women, and in certain respects even more so than for men. Women generally have a tendency to follow the latest fashions, and often these fashions touch on matters of modesty. Jewish women must know that the same Torah and mitzvos—and the same principle of kol kevudah bas melech penimah (the entire honor of a Jewish daughter is inward)—that were valid back home are also valid here in America.
The same tradition of warm-hearted Jewish women who were the first to help build the Mishkan (Sanctuary) for all Israel—and their own Mishkan and Mikdash at home so that it would be a dwelling where Hashem could say v'shachanti b'socham (and I will dwell among them), that this is a home for the Divine Presence—this too applies here in America just as it did back home across the sea.
And to help realize these traditions and maintain the continuity of Torah and mitzvos, modesty, etc., among Jewish women—where the woman is the akeres habayis (mainstay) and foundation of the Jewish home—my father-in-law established Beis Rivka schools al taharas hakodesh (in pure holiness).
It is therefore unnecessary to elaborate on the importance and necessity of Beis Rivka institutions for Jewish daughters or on the great merit each one of you—the activists and friends of Beis Rivka—has by supporting these institutions and helping strengthen and expand them. This also serves as a vessel to receive Hashem’s blessings in all your needs: Jewish nachas from children, health, abundant livelihood—both materially and spiritually.
