As we approach the new year that is coming upon us and all Israel for good and blessing, I hereby express my blessing to you and all that is yours: a blessing for being inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year in both material and spiritual matters.
This includes that each of you—and both together—should use your influence for the benefit of our people, one nation on earth, and for the benefit of our holy land, a land upon which the eyes of Hashem are from the beginning of the year until year's end (Devarim 11:12), in both materiality and spirituality together; for one depends on the other. For a Jew in particular this means increasing form over matter, spirit over material.
