צערא אגרא – וויבאַלד איר האָט געהאַט אונאָנגענעמלעכקייטן אין ביידע ענינים, זאָל אייך דער אויבערשטער פאַרגיטיגן כמה פעמים ככה, און איר זאָלט האָבן גוטע בשורות צו מבשר זיין.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
I received your letter from the 9th of Tammuz. Since this response is being written on an auspicious day—once one of the happiest days as our Sages of blessed memory relate (There were no festivals for Israel like the Fifteenth of Av etc.)—I wish you and your wife and all your household success in all your matters, especially an improvement in livelihood. Most importantly: to raise each and every one of your children in Torah, marriage, and good deeds with joy and a glad heart.
And may it be fulfilled for you: Lefum tzaara agra (According to the effort is the reward)—since you have experienced difficulties in both areas, may the Alm-ghty repay you many times over, and may you have good news to share.
And may we all merit together with all Israel to see fulfilled the prophecy from today's Haftorah for Shabbat Nachamu—Nachamu nachamu ami yomar Elokeichem ("Comfort, comfort My people," says your G‑d), and may these days of Bein HaMetzarim be transformed into joy and gladness and festivals.

Summary
The Rebbe teaches that even after hardship or discomfort, one should expect multiplied blessings from Hashem. On Tu B'Av and Shabbat Nachamu especially, he encourages joy and faith that difficulties will turn into happiness for individuals and all Israel.
