Shalom u'Vrachah!
In connection with the Siyum celebration this coming week, I am sending my blessing to all those completing (the study), as well as to the teachers, administrators, educators, and all the students. Since on the Shabbos before this year's Siyum we read Parshas Behaaloscha Es HaNeros, it is certainly a preparation and inspiration for all those completing and all participants in the Siyum—especially as explained in Likkutei Torah (Parshas Behaaloscha) by our master the Alter Rebbe: that the concept of the Menorah is that the soul is called a candle, as it says "Ner Hashem Nishmas Adam" (the candle of Hashem is the soul of man), and within every soul there are seven candles—seven levels in serving Hashem. There are those who serve out of love drawn like water; others out of love burning like fiery coals; others through Torah—the middle path, etc. (see there at length).
From here comes a lesson for every Jew—not only to continue and elevate in their own soul a constant candle of "Ner Mitzvah v'Torah Or" (a mitzvah is a candle and Torah is light), but also to ignite and inspire the soul of every other Jew—of every type—so that they too and their household will be a dwelling place and sanctuary for Him according to His will and His promise: "V'Shachanti B'Socham" (and I will dwell among them)—within each one individually.
If this applies to every Jew, how much more so regarding Tomchei Temimim students whose role—in the style of the great founder of Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim (the Rebbe Rashab)—is to be "candles to illuminate," which is their essential mission.
May it be Hashem's will that each one of those completing—in the midst of all yeshiva students—fulfill their mission as students of Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch: spreading Torah light—both revealed Torah and Chassidus—for it is one Torah for us all; "Ner Mitzvah"—fulfilling mitzvos with vitality and beauty—for action is primary—and in a manner that continually increases light with joy and gladness of heart.
Blessings for outstanding success both materially and spiritually together, and for good news in all mentioned above.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that just as each soul is a candle meant to shine brightly through Torah study and mitzvah observance, so too must students inspire themselves and others. Their mission is to spread light ever-increasingly—with joy—to make themselves and others into sanctuaries for G‑d.
