I was pleased to receive a report that you conveyed my greeting upon your return to Montreal, especially on the occasion of the Yud Kislev farbrengen, and that you did so with liveliness and joy.
May the Alm-ghty help you to always bring happiness to Jews—and of course to your own family—so that there should be joy in every aspect, both materially and spiritually. For Jews, both go together; moreover, when there is a joyful state in spiritual matters, the Alm-ghty grants success in material matters as well. For a baavroisker it is certainly unnecessary to elaborate on this.
May it be His will that you continue increasing in all of this in a manner of "mosif v'holech" (increasing and going further), in harmony with the concept of the Chanukah lights, where each day an additional candle is added.
With wishes for a joyous Festival of Redemption and a bright Chanukah, and for good news in all mentioned above.
