When to Schedule a Child's Upsherenish if Birthday is After Lag BaOmer

The Rebbe writes that if there is no special custom, one should wait and perform the upsherenish (first haircut) on the child's birthday, even if it falls after Lag BaOmer. This guidance was given in response to a question about a birthday in Sivan.

Summary

The Rebbe teaches that unless there is a specific family or community custom, a child's upsherenish should be held on his actual birthday, even if it is after Lag BaOmer.
