I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter in which you requested a blessing and included a pan from the 7th of Elul. At an auspicious time it will be read at the Tziyun of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, of blessed memory.
The studies (both in Chassidus and in Nigleh) with the students should, of course, be appropriate to their knowledge and abilities, and in such a manner that (at least eventually) their hearts will desire them.
With blessings for a ketivah v'chatimah tovah.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that when instructing students in both Chassidus and Nigleh, one must tailor the lessons to each student's abilities so that they come to desire learning. He also assures that requests for blessings are brought to the Tziyun at an auspicious time.
