I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 25th of Menachem Av. In response to your question: If someone sustains even a single Jewish soul—as our Sages clearly rule, it is as if he sustained an entire world—how much more so when it comes to tens of souls and even an entire community.

Teaching Torah to Jews—which alone is our life—in a way that influences the life of the learner (in the language of our Sages: learning that leads to action), and with strong hope that it will shape his life, thereby sustains him, gives him life, and brings him to eternal life as well as true life in this world (worthy of being called 'life').

Accordingly, it is understood that your future path is clear—to fulfill the community's request and continue your activities there for some time longer. Through this, G‑d's blessing will increase in your personal matters as well, especially in the main point—abundant true nachas from all your children.
