Shalom u'Vrachah!

In continuation of our spoken conversation, I also wish in writing—first and foremost—to greet you upon your return to Eretz HaKodesh with heartfelt wishes that the great effort you invested in your travels and so on will bear fruit far beyond expectations. As our Sages say—whose every word is precise in all details—"Yagata u'Matzata" (You have toiled and you have found), meaning that when there is toil, the results are not only commensurate with the effort but come as a "finding," i.e., in a manner incomparable to the exertion invested. And the merit of the many assists him.

Once again, I wish to express my heartfelt thanks and great pleasure from the precious gift—the actual handwritten letters of the Rebbe Rashab—which, in addition to their role in Pidyon Shevuyim (redeeming captives), as discussed (which is a one-time act), provide ongoing and lasting pleasure; their content renews itself every time one studies them. It is understood that I hold deep appreciation for you from my heart for the joy of having had another opportunity to meet face-to-face and converse privately, even though the time at our disposal was not at all sufficient for all that was discussed—and even more so for what was not discussed—which we will address in writing at an appropriate opportunity.

Blessings for good news in all of the above—including (and I hope) that you will be given an opportunity to rest from your travels and visits. Although there were certainly many matters of satisfaction and nachas ruach (spiritual pleasure), sometimes even after pleasurable experiences one needs rest.
