ובודאי למותר להאריך בגודל הקורת רוח לנשמה הנמצאת בעולם האמת, על ידי כל פעולה והוספה בלימוד התורה והידור בקיום המצות, במעשה או בדיבור, של כל אחד מהמשפחה, ועל אחת כמה וכמה - בניו, אשר בסגנון חכמינו ז"ל, ברא כרעא דאבוה - יבדלו לחיים -, ובפרט כשנעשה הדבר בארץ הקדש, היא ארץ ישראל, אשר כל התפלות עולים דרך שם השמימה, וכמה שכתוב, והתפללו אליך דרך ארצם, וכמובא לפסק הלכה בשולחן ערוך ועד לשולחן ערוך רבנו הזקן - בעל התניא והשו"ע - ריש סימן צ"ד.

I was pleased to receive regards from you through the distinguished Avrech, a man of character and so on, Yehuda Leib Andrusier, may he live.
May it be G‑d's will that from now on only good—good that is visible and revealed—should be found by you and each member of your family, may they live long and well; may you increase in Torah and mitzvos with health and gladness of heart.
Certainly it is unnecessary to elaborate on the great satisfaction brought to a soul residing in the World of Truth by every action and increase in Torah study and beautification of mitzvah observance—whether in deed or word—by any member of the family. All the more so by his sons who, as our Sages say, "a child is like a leg of his father"—may they be separated for life—and especially when this is done in the Holy Land, Eretz Yisrael, through which all prayers ascend to Heaven. As it is written: "And they shall pray to You via their land" (Melachim I 8:48), as cited as halachah in Shulchan Aruch and even more so in Shulchan Aruch HaRav—the author of Tanya and Shulchan Aruch—at the beginning of section 94.
