בקשר עם י"ט כסלו הבא עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה, כמנהגי הטוב בכל שנה, הנני בזה לאחל לו, בנוסח ששמעתי מכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר - "גוט יום טוב. לשנה טובה בלימוד החסידות ודרכי החסידות תכתבו ותחתמו".
עלה בידנו להתאים ההוצאה לאור מעניני בעל השמחה אדמו"ר הזקן ליום גאולתו, והוא שהביאו עכשו מבית הכורך תרגום אגרת התשובה לאנגלית. ומוסג"פ טופס אחד.
ומובן שאם ירצה כ' עוד טופסים יודיענו ויושלחו לו בחפץ לב.

ארשה לי להביע לכ' תודתי מראש בעד ביקורו בכפר חב"ד ביום יט"כ הבהיר הבע"ל, שתקותי חזקה שגם בשנה זו יבקר כמנהגו הטוב, ובפרט ששנה זו מצוינה בחסידות ביתר שאת וביתר עז, שהיא שנת המאה להסתלקות-הילולא של כ"ק אדמו"ר הצמח צדק.
וידוע שאדמו"ר הזקן באחת מאגרות שלו בנוגע שחרורו וגאולתו, באגרת שכתב לרל"י מבארדיטשוב נ"ע, כותב שם כמה סימנים וטעמים, ומענין לציין שאחד מהם הוא שיום זה הוא יום הילולא רבא דרבינו הקדוש נשמתו עדן, וז"ל:
"יום אשר עשה ה' לנו יום י"ט כסלו, יום ג' שהוכפל בו כי טוב, יום הילולא רבא דרבינו הקדוש נ"ע, וכשקראתי בספר תלים בפסוק פדה בשלום נפשי".
מו"ה שניאור זלמן: שזר. אגרות נוספות אליו - לעיל ט'נא, ובהנסמן בהערות שם.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
In connection with the upcoming Yud Tes Kislev for us and all Israel for good, as is my good custom every year, I hereby wish you, in the wording I heard from my revered father-in-law the Rebbe: "Gut Yom Tov. For a good year in the study of Chassidus and the ways of Chassidus may you be inscribed and sealed."
We have succeeded in arranging for publication from matters of the Baal HaSimchah, Admor HaZaken, for his day of redemption; specifically, they have now brought from the printer a translation of Iggeres HaTeshuvah into English. A copy is enclosed. Of course, if you would like more copies please let us know and they will be sent to you gladly.

Allow me to express my thanks to you in advance for your visit to Kfar Chabad on the upcoming bright Yud Tes Kislev; I strongly hope that also this year you will visit as is your good custom—especially as this year is especially significant in Chassidus with extra strength and vigor, being the hundredth year since the passing-hilulah of my revered ancestor Admor tzt"z.
It is known that Admor HaZaken in one of his letters regarding his release and redemption—in a letter he wrote to Reb Levi Yitzchak of Barditchev—writes there several signs and reasons. It is interesting to note that one of them is that this day is also the yahrzeit (hilulah rabba) of Rabbeinu Hakadosh (Rebbi), may his soul rest in Eden. And these are his words: "A day which G‑d made for us—Yud Tes Kislev—a Tuesday on which 'ki tov' was doubled (it was good), hilulah rabba (great yahrzeit) of Rabbeinu Hakadosh zatzal; and when I read in Tehillim at the verse 'Padah v'Shalom Nafshi' (He has redeemed my soul in peace)."
