I hereby acknowledge receipt of your book Nitzotzei Or, Ha'aros VeHe'aros etc., which was delivered to me these past days, as well as regards from the guests from Eretz HaKodesh Tavo U'Tichyeh, whom I also asked to convey my regards to your honor. Thank you for your attention in sending me this book as well as previously your books Mikra VeHaMesorah etc., and certainly you will continue to do so in the future; thank you in advance.

May it be G‑d's will that for many years you increase your strength in Torah study and merit to successfully publish your Torah teachings. Especially since an important part of them are references, notes, and analyses that highlight the unity within our holy Torah—one Torah—and since it was given by the Only One of the world, surely above as well it is a unique Torah.

With honor and blessing to hear good news in all the above.

In these days one of the renowned printers—the Schulsinger brothers—who merited and succeeded in publishing works of Rishonim and Acharonim with both external and internal beauty (beginning with Chumashim, Shas Bavli etc.), is traveling for a visit to Eretz HaKodesh Tavo U'Tichyeh. They are also the printers who published Likkutei Torah of Admor HaZaken in addition to several Chassidus books we had printed through them. Since their hearts have been moved to publish Shas Yerushalmi together with Shas Bavli with all commentaries etc., I suggested they visit your honor and receive your opinion about the plan for publishing both Shas together (see Chagigah 10a), as this is a matter relevant to many and merits the public.

On a related note: I am surprised that in your Shaarei Zohar you did not include references from Shas Yerushalmi; if possible it would certainly be worthwhile to publish them separately on a sheet, and over time attach them to a second edition of this book. Since their plan is only to stay in Eretz HaKodesh for a few days, this letter is being sent urgently.

At the beginning of Sefer Nitzotzei Or: those called Tannaim etc., Perushim—see there that their role is to explain the Torah. Seemingly according to this their name should be Perushim (with yud-vav) or at least with different vocalization than commonly used. Apparently elsewhere earlier generations also vocalized this word differently. And even though "names are not preserved like verbs" (Ibn Ezra Shemos 2:10), nevertheless it should be so regarding this matter.

At its end: In the text of Kaddish (of siyum masechta): "VeLeAchaya... VeLeMivne... VeLeMeakar..."—it requires analysis that these matters are presented not according to time order; see Berachos 49a; Zohar I end Parshas Chayei Sarah and 139a; Rambam Melachim end ch. 11; letter of my revered father-in-law (printed in his letter collection). Also wherever you referenced in your Nitzotzei Zohar Berachos there. Regarding what I saw you referenced from Zohar there from Kesem Paz—printed in Likkutei Sichos vol. 34 p.239 and completed based on a copy.
