Shalom u'Vrachah!

May it be with success and good tidings. Regarding this year it is said: 'And in the seventh year, a Sabbath for Hashem...' (etc.). May it be His will that the study (as continued in the verse) be a Sabbath for Hashem—as Rashi explains, for the sake of Hashem. (And therefore) 'your field and your vineyard'—the Mishnah and Gemara mentioned above—(see Likkutei Torah Behar 40d) 'yours, not...' and see Torah Or in explanation of 'not...' in your land (Mishpatim 79a). Rashi explains that it is forbidden to eat or benefit from them (on the contrary—it is for you, for whatever you need, and even exempt from firstborn), only that you should not treat them as an owner.

This is an answer regarding the notification that in the year 5726 they will study tractate Shabbat in Tomchei Temimim Yeshivot.

Summary

The Rebbe connects learning tractate Shabbat during a sabbatical year to dedicating one's efforts purely for G‑d, emphasizing humility and selflessness in Torah study.
