די יערלעכע אונטערנעמונג קומט היי-יאר פאר אין א העכסט-גינסטיגע צייט - אין דער צייט צווישן די צוויי פורים'ס. ספעציעל איז די צייט א גינסטיגע פאר אידישע פרויען, נעמענדיג אין אכט דעם וויכטיגען ארט פון אסתר המלכה אין דעם נס פון פורים, בימים ההם בזמן הזה.
אסתר המלכה האט זיך געקענט פילן גאנץ זיכער אין איר פערזענלעכער לאגע; און מרדכי איז דאך זיכער געווען גערעכט, אז ריוח והצלה יעמוד ליהודים ממקום אחר - דעם אויבערשטנס הילף קען קומען דורך אן אנדערן. איז צו וואס זאל זי איינשטעלן איר לעבן פאר א צווייטן? אבער אסתר האט ניט געמאכט קיינע פערזענלעכע חשבונות; זי איז געגאנגען אויף מסירות-נפש צו ראטעווען אידן. און דעריבער האט זי אויך זוכה געווען, אז די מגילה ווערט אנגערופן אויף איר נאמען.
דערפון איז אן אנווייזונג פאר אידישע פרויען, אין אלע צייטן, אז כאטש וועלכע פרוי קען זיך גלייכן צו אסתר המלכה, איז אבער זיכער, אז יעדע איינע קען גאר פיל אויפטאן אויף איר אייגענעם אופן, און אין איר אייגענער סביבה, אויב זי וועט אויספילן די תורה-אנווייזונגען און וועט עס טאן מיטן גאנצן הארצן, ווי אסתר המלכה האט געוויזן א לעבעדיגען ביישפיל וואס א אידישע פרוי איז בכוח צו טאן.
און פונקט ווי אין דער צייט פון דעם ערשטן פורים, ווען המן'ס גזירה איז בטל געווארן אין דעם מאמענט ווען מרדכי האט פארזאמלט די אידישע קינדערלעך און האט מיט זיי געלערנט תורה, מיט אזא באגייסטערונג און אומבאגרענעצטע ליבשאפט פאר תורה ומצוות, ביז זיי האבן זיך ניט געוועלט אפרייסן פון מרדכי הצדיק - אין לעבן, אדער ח"ו פארקערט -
אזוי איז אין אלע צייטן דער יסוד פון דעם גאנצן קיום פון אונזער פאלק - דער תורה-חינוך פון די אידישע קינדער.
און דאס איז דאך די אויפגאבע און די ארבעט פון דער ליידיס אקזעלערי - צו העלפן די ליובאוויטשער ישיבות תומכי-תמימים צו באזארגן א תורה-חינוך על טהרת הקדש פאר זייערע פילצאליגע תלמידים, כן ירבו.
דער יערלעכער באנקעט איז דער הויכפונקט אין דער דאזיגער ארבעט, און איך וויל האפן, אז אלע וועלן טאן אלץ וואס נאר מעגלעך צו זען, אז דער באנקעט זאל זיין מיט גרויס הצלחה אין אלע הינזיכטן.
זייט אלע געבענטשט, צוזאמען מיט אייערע בני-בית שיחיו, אין אלץ וואס מען נויטיגט זיך, בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.

Annual banquet of the Ladies Auxiliary of Brownsville and East New York for the Lubavitcher Yeshivos Tomchei Temimim.
Shalom u'Vrachah!
This annual event is taking place this year at a most favorable time—during the period between the two Purims. Especially is this time auspicious for Jewish women, considering the important role of Esther HaMalka in the miracle of Purim, BaYamim HaHem BaZman HaZeh ("In those days at this time"). Esther HaMalka could have felt completely secure in her personal situation; and Mordechai was certainly correct that relief and salvation would arise for the Jews from another place—the help of the Almighty can come through someone else. So why should she risk her life for another? But Esther did not make any personal calculations; she went with self-sacrifice to save Jews. Therefore, she also merited that the Megillah is called by her name.
From this there is a lesson for Jewish women in all times: although not every woman can be exactly like Esther HaMalka, it is certain that each one can accomplish a great deal in her own way and within her own environment if she fulfills the Torah's directives and does so with all her heart, as Esther HaMalka demonstrated—a living example of what a Jewish woman is capable of achieving.
And just as in the time of the first Purim, when Haman's decree was nullified at the moment Mordechai gathered the Jewish children and learned Torah with them—with such enthusiasm and boundless love for Torah and mitzvos that they did not want to separate from Mordechai HaTzaddik—in life or G‑d forbid otherwise—so too in all times this is the foundation of our people's entire existence: Torah education for Jewish children.
This is indeed the task and work of the Ladies Auxiliary—to help Lubavitcher Yeshivos Tomchei Temimim provide pure Torah education for their many students, may they increase. The annual banquet is the highlight of this work, and I hope that everyone will do everything possible to ensure that this banquet will be with great success in every respect.
May you all be blessed, together with your families, in everything you need—both materially and spiritually.

The Rebbe teaches that every Jewish woman can emulate Esther's self-sacrifice by supporting Torah education. Through wholehearted involvement in communal efforts like supporting yeshivos, women play a vital role in ensuring Jewish continuity and spiritual growth.
