באיחור קבלתי מכתבם במענה על פניתי לעורר דעת הרבנים ודעת הקהל בבעיות הכי חמורות הקשורות עם ענין אימוץ ילדים וילדות.
ומה שכותבים שברצונם להדפיס הדברים באוצה"פ כיון שהם בעלי חשיבות מרובה, רצוני כן לעשות רצונם, ובפרט על פי ידיעותי שעוד ניתוסף עליהן - מגודל הפרצה השוררת כעת בשטח האמור, וכן בשטח הטיפולים הרפואיים אודותם מדובר במכתבי הנ"ל.
ויהי רצון אשר הדפסה האמורה תביא תועלת המקווה. ואם בסגנון חכמינו ז"ל המציל נפש אחת מישראל כאילו הציל עולם מלא, על אחת כמה וכמה להביא תיקון בכמה בתי ישראל, שתקותי חזקה שכשיעוררו שימת לב בני ובנות ישראל לחומר בעיות האמורות, הרי לבן של ישראל ער הוא אפילו כשנמצאים בבחינת "אני ישנה בגלותא", גלות מבחוץ וגלות מבפנים, ויבוא הענין על תיקונו.
בכבוד ובברכת הצלחה בפעלם הנעלה לזכות את הרבים באורה זו תורה וכו' ויהי רצון שכל אחד ואחד יעשה בהאמור מתוך אורה ושמחה וששון ויקר גם כפשוטו של מקרא - ובהוקרה.

I received your letter belatedly in response to my request to arouse the attention of rabbis and the public regarding the most serious issues connected with adoption of boys and girls.
As you write that you wish to print these matters in Otzar HaPoskim since they are of great importance, I am willing to fulfill your request—especially based on my knowledge that the breach currently prevailing in this area has grown even greater, as well as in the area of medical treatments discussed in my aforementioned letter.
May it be G‑d's will that this publication will bring about the hoped-for benefit. And if, in the words of our Sages of blessed memory: "Whoever saves a single Jewish soul is considered as if he saved an entire world," how much more so when bringing rectification to several Jewish homes. My strong hope is that when attention is drawn among Jewish men and women to the gravity of these issues, for the heart of Israel is awake—even when they are in a state of "I am asleep in exile," exile from without and exile from within—the matter will be corrected.
With honor and with blessings for success in your lofty work to bring merit to the many with this light—that is Torah—and may it be G‑d's will that each and every one will act on what was said with light and joy and gladness and preciousness also in the literal sense of Scripture—with esteem.
