בנועם קבלתי מכתבו מכ"ח בטבת, ונהניתי לקרוא בו על דבר יחסו הטוב לאנשי חב"ד בכלל וכפר חב"ד בפרט. ותקותי חזקה שלא רק ימשיך בזה, אלא עוד יוסיף, כמו בכל ענין של טוב וקדושה שצריך להעלות בקדש, והרי גודל וצמיחה הוא סימן של חיות בכל דבר חי, לרבות התענינות חי'.
כבקשתו, אזכירו ואת אשתו ובני ביתו, שיחיו, על ציון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, מייסד כפר חב"ד, וזכות עזרתו לכפר בודאי יעמוד לכ' ולכל אשר לו להתברך בכל המצטרך בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד. ובפרט ששנה זו היא שנת סגולה להיותה שנת המאה וחמשים להסתלקותו של כ"ק אדמו"ר הזקן, בעל התניא והשולחן ערוך, מייסד תנועת חב"ד ושיטתה והדרכותי'.

With pleasure I received your letter from the 28th of Tevet, and I enjoyed reading about your positive attitude toward Chabad in general and Kfar Chabad in particular. My strong hope is not only that you will continue in this, but that you will also increase your involvement—as with every matter of goodness and holiness, one must always ascend in sanctity. After all, growth and flourishing are signs of vitality in every living thing, including lively interest.
As you requested, I will mention you and your wife and household at the gravesite of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe—founder of Kfar Chabad—and surely his merit for helping Kfar Chabad will stand by you and all yours to be blessed with everything needed both materially and spiritually.
This is especially so since this year is an auspicious one: it marks the one hundred fiftieth year since the passing of the Alter Rebbe, author of Tanya and Shulchan Aruch, founder of the Chabad movement and its approach and guidance.
