יהי רצון שיצליח במילוי תפקיד האמור, יראה פרי טוב בעמלו, ויפעול בזה מתוך בריאות וטוב לבב.
ובודאי ובודאי ינעם לי להוודע בעתו ובזמנו מתוצאות נסיעתו ובקבלת ידיעות טובות מהמקומות אשר ביקר.
ומענין לענין, לרגלי מלאת לו שבעים שנה לארך ימים ושנים טובות,
יהי רצון מהשי"ת אשר עוד רבות בשנים יפעול לטובת בני ישראל בגשם וברוח אשר יחדיו יהלכון,
וכידוע פירוש רבנו הזקן, בעל התניא והשו"ע, בתואר עמנו אשר גוי אחד בארץ הם, שממשיכים האחדות - אחדות ה' - גם בארץ ובענינים ארציים.

In connection with your trip to visit our Jewish brethren in the Diaspora, etc., which is surely intended to encourage their spirits by strengthening the bond with Jews in other places and by bringing regards from one group to another—along with emphasizing that Am Yisrael Chai (the Jewish people live) and that our Torah is a Torah of life and its mitzvos are those about which it is said "v'chai bahem" (and you shall live by them), given by the living G‑d. May it be G‑d's will that you succeed in fulfilling this mission, see good fruit from your efforts, and accomplish this with health and a glad heart.
Certainly, certainly it will please me to be informed in due time of the results of your trip and to receive good news from the places you visited.
On another note: on the occasion of your reaching seventy years—may you have long and good days and years—may it be G‑d's will that for many more years you continue to benefit the Jewish people both materially and spiritually, which go hand in hand. As is well known from the explanation of our master, the Baal HaTanya and Shulchan Aruch, regarding our nation's designation as "goy echad ba'aretz" (one nation on earth), meaning that they draw down unity—the unity of G‑d—even into earthly matters.
