Havavac"h iy"a nu"n melachto melachet shamayim David Avraham
Shalom u'Vrachah!
After a long pause, your letters from the 13th of this month and from Motzaei Shabbat were received. Of course, any concern about resentment or similar matters has no basis at all; as I have written to several of Anash, the delay in my response is solely due to being extremely busy.
It is surprising that you do not mention your activities in spreading the wellsprings within the broader work of spreading Judaism, even though I hope you are indeed active in this. Why withhold this good news? Surely you will share it on the next occasion, and may it be done with joy and gladness of heart.
We are now in the auspicious days of the month of Ziv (Iyar), as our Sages explain: during this month were born those who illuminated the world (its concealment and obscurity). The deeds of our forefathers serve as a sign (and empowerment) for their children. This should be understood well.
With blessings for good news in both general and personal matters together. As our Sages explain: Rosh Hashanah 11b. Deeds of the forefathers: see Sefer HaSichos 5752 vol. 1 p. 79 note 82. And others.
Summary
The Rebbe reassures that delays in correspondence are due to busyness, not displeasure. He encourages sharing positive activities in spreading Torah and mitzvot and highlights drawing strength from our ancestors' actions—especially during these special days—with joy and gladness.
