במענה למכתבו מה' כסלו, בו כותב ראשי פרקים מדברי ימי חייו ומסיים בהצעה שקבל אודות רבנות במדינת גוואטאמאלע, ומה שנוגע עוד יותר פעולות בחינוך על טהרת הקדש, וכבר הסכים על זה ויש כרטיסים לנסיעה והכינו דירה עבורו, ושואל העם יסע,
וע"פ פסק דין תורתנו הק' תורת חיים, כל המקיים נפש אחת מישראל כאילו קיים עולם מלא, שזהו בנוגע להקיום לחיי העולם הזה ופשיטא שגם לקיום חיי עולם הבא כן הוא, ועוד נקודה בהאמור שהנ"ל הוא בגדר עניי עירך, כיון שמוצאו ממדינת דרום אמריקה יודע השפה וכו',
נכונה ההצעה וטובה בטוב האמיתי, כפירוש חז"ל טוב לשמים וטוב לבריות וטוב העושה פירות, שיסע למדינה האמורה ויעבוד שם במסירה ונתינה בהחזקת היהדות המסורתית והפצתה וזכות הרבים מסייעתו וגודל ערך הענין אין די באר.
ויהי רצון שיעשה בהאמור מתוך שמחה טוב לבב ויצליח.
בטח יודע מפרשת יום הבשורה יום הגאולה י"ט כסלו גאולת פנימיות התורה שנתגלתה בתורת החסידות, המדגישה איך שאהבת ישראל אהבת התורה ואהבת השם, חד הוא, שזה עוד מוסיף נועם בהנ"ל.

In response to your letter from the 5th of Kislev, in which you outline the main points of your life story and conclude with the offer you received regarding a rabbinic position in the country of Guatemala, and even more so regarding activities in education according to the purity of holiness. You have already agreed to this, tickets for travel have been arranged, and an apartment has been prepared for you. You ask whether you should go. According to the ruling of our holy Torah, the Torah of life: "Whoever sustains one Jewish soul is considered as if he sustained an entire world" (regarding sustaining life in this world), and certainly this applies also to sustaining eternal life in the World to Come. Another point is that those mentioned are considered 'the poor of your city,' since you come from South America and know the language, etc. The proposal is correct and truly good—according to our Sages: good for Heaven, good for people, and good that produces fruit—that you should travel to that country and work there with dedication in maintaining traditional Judaism and spreading it; the merit of the many will assist you, and the greatness of this matter cannot be adequately expressed.
May it be G‑d's will that you carry out all this with joy and gladness of heart and succeed.
You surely know about the portion concerning "the day of good tidings," Yud-Tes Kislev—the redemption of the inner dimension of Torah revealed through Chassidus—which emphasizes how Ahavas Yisrael (love for a fellow Jew), love for Torah, and love for G‑d are one; this adds further pleasantness to all that was mentioned above.
