במענה למכתבו בראשון בחשון, בו כותב אודות מצבו הרוחני, ולכן שואל אולי יסע לכאן וכו'
ומובנת הפליאה והתמי' הכי גדולה אפילו על הקס"ד, שהרי ככתבו בילה כאן כמה זמן, ומרצונו ושלא ברצונו קבל בודאי כמה ענינים, אלא שככל עניני התורה סוף סוף צריכים להביאם בפועל ובסגנון חז"ל גדול תלמוד שמביא לידי מעשה,
והשגחה העליונה הזמינה לו באופן קל לפי ערך איך להביא הענינים לפועל, היינו בחינוך על טהרת הקדש במוסד כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר נשיא ישראל,
שמזה פשוט שצריך לעשות בזה במסירה ונתינה ובשמחה גדולה ובפעילות הכי גדולה,
ובפרט שבקרוב מתכונן לבנות בית בישראל בנין עדי עד, הרי עבודה האמורה, צנור וכלי שיהי' בנין ביתם בהצלחה.
ותמורת כל האמור הרי מאז חזרתו לאה"ק ת"ו מתבונן בהדרכים איך להתחמק מעבודה האמורה ועד כדי כך שהיצר רוצה להלביש זה באיצטלא של יראת שמים.
המורם מהאמור, שימלא שליחותו האמורה בשמחה וטוב לבב במקומו ובמסירה ונתינה, כמובן ביחד עם לימוד לעצמו נגלה וחסידות והלכות הצריכות בפרט, וכיון שהובטחנו, אדם מקדש עצמו מעט מלמטה מקדשין אותו הרבה מלמעלה, יצליח.
לפלא גדול שאינו כותב מהפעולות בימי חדש תשרי והרי זהו חדש כללי לכל השנה, ובטח ימלא בהזדמנות הבאה.

In response to your letter on the first of Cheshvan, in which you write about your spiritual state and therefore ask whether perhaps you should travel here, etc., it is truly astonishing—even the very thought—since as you wrote, you spent quite some time here. Willingly or not, you certainly absorbed many things. However, as with all matters of Torah, ultimately they must be brought into action; as our Sages say: "Great is study for it brings to action." Divine Providence has arranged for you an easy way (relatively speaking) to actualize these matters—namely, educating with purity and holiness in the institution of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, leader of Israel. It is clear from this that one must carry out this work with total dedication and great joy and with utmost activity—especially since you are soon preparing to build an everlasting Jewish home. This very work is the channel and vessel through which your home will be built successfully.
Instead of all this, ever since your return to Eretz HaKodesh (the Holy Land), you have been contemplating ways to avoid this very work—to such an extent that the yetzer (evil inclination) wants to cloak it in the guise of fear of Heaven.
The conclusion from all this: fulfill your aforementioned mission with joy and gladness of heart in your place and with total dedication. Of course, this should go together with personal study—Nigleh (revealed Torah), Chassidus, and especially practical halachot. Since we have been assured: "If a person sanctifies himself a little below, he is sanctified much from Above," you will succeed.
It is most surprising that you did not write about your activities during Tishrei—which is a general month for the whole year—and surely you will fill me in at the next opportunity.
The wedding date—as customary—should be arranged by both parties in good faith.
