מאשר הנני קבלת מכתביו מט"ז י"ט כ"ב אלול עם המוסגר בם, ומצו"פ המענה לגיסתו תחי' ולפלא שמקצר כ"כ בהנוגע להכנוסים שהיו לאחרונה.
במ"ש אודות צירוף השטחים לכפר החדש, לא בירר כוונתו בכתבו שאם ידברו ע"ד כפר הישן הנטוש לבד - הרי זה יערער כל העמדה, שאין זה מובן, ובטח יבאר בזה יותר במכתבו הבא.
בכללות הענין יש לשער, שכיון שבאה"ק ת"ו המפלגתיות שולטת בכל, וכח המפלגות נערך גם כן בהתאם לנקודות ההתיישבות של כאו"א, קשה לומר שמפלגה תוותר על נקודת התיישבות שלה שתצטרף למושב אחר, משא"כ כשהמדובר יה'י רק בהנוגע לשטח מסוים, ואין זה ממעט מספר המושבות של מפלגה זו, שאפשר לעשות הדבר מבלי הכנס לנצחנות וכו'. מובן שכ"ז כתוב רק בהשערה - כיון שאין ידועים כאן הפרטים. וכ"א כבר כתבתי, שצריך להתייעץ כולם יחד, ולא שכל אחד ימשוך בכיוון אחר.
כבר כתבתי לכמה מאנ"ש אודות הנחיצות להכין בעוד מועד תכנית מפורטת לניצול ימי הרצון והשמחה של חדש תשרי הבע"ל, ויהי רצון שעכ"פ עתה תועיל הזריזות בזה.
ולקראת השנה החדשה הבאה עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה ולברכה, הנני בזה להביע ברכתי לו ולכל אשר לו ברכת כתיבה וחתימה טובה לשנה טובה ומתוקה בגשמיות וברוחניות.

I acknowledge receipt of your letters from the 16th, 19th, and 22nd of Elul with their enclosures. Enclosed is my response to your sister-in-law. It is surprising that you write so briefly regarding the recent gatherings.
Regarding what you wrote about merging the lands for the new village: you did not clarify your intent when you wrote that if they speak only about the old abandoned village, it will undermine the entire position. This is not understood, and I am sure you will explain further in your next letter.
In general, it can be assumed that since in Eretz Yisrael party politics dominate everything and party strength is also measured by each settlement point, it is difficult to imagine a party giving up its own settlement point to join another moshav. However, if it concerns only a specific area and does not reduce this party's number of settlements, then perhaps it can be done without entering into endless disputes. Of course, all this is written as an assumption since details are not known here.
As I have already written: everyone should consult together and not pull in different directions.
I have already written to several of Anash about the need to prepare in advance a detailed plan to utilize the days of favor and joy of the upcoming month of Tishrei. May it be G‑d's will that at least now there will be alacrity in this matter.
As we approach the new year coming upon us and all Israel for good and blessing, I hereby express my blessing to you and all yours for a good inscription and sealing for a good and sweet year both materially and spiritually.
