לאחרי ההפסק הכי ארוך נתקבל מכתבו מי"ט אלול, בו כותב שעומד בקישרו עם נציגי כפר חב"ד בהנוגע לביסוס והתפתחות מצב החקלאות שם, ולמותר להביע תודתי חמה עוה"פ על התענינותו בזה.
ואף שאינו מזכיר שמות האנשים שבאו עמו בקישרו, אבל בודאי כוונתו לועד הכפר, אשר הם מייצגים כל תושבי הכפר, והחקלאים בכללם, ויודעים פרטי המצב שם.
ומובן אשר צדק בדבריו במכתבו, אשר התפתחות חלק מהכפר ישפיע על שאר החלקים, ובודאי תגדל התועלת באם תהי' פעולה משותפת מכל הסוגים אשר בכפר חב"ד שאז בטח ישתמר וישוכלל צביונו וימלא תפקידו על צד היותר טוב.
ולקראת השנה החדשה הבאה עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה ולברכה, הנני שולח לכ' ברכתי, ברכת כתיבה וחתימה טובה לשנה טובה ומתוקה בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.

After the longest interval, your letter from the 19th of Elul was received, in which you write that you are maintaining contact with representatives of Kfar Chabad regarding strengthening and developing the state of agriculture there. It is unnecessary to once again express my warm thanks for your interest in this matter.
Although you do not mention the names of those with whom you are in contact, it is certainly the village committee you mean, as they represent all the residents of the village—including the farmers—and know the details of the situation there.
It is clear that you were correct in your letter when you wrote that development in one part of the village will influence other parts. Certainly, benefit will increase if there is joint action by all groups within Kfar Chabad; then its character will surely be preserved and enhanced, and it will fulfill its role in the best possible way.
As we approach the new year coming upon us and all Israel for good and blessing, I send you my blessing: may you be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year both materially and spiritually.
