No Limit to Wedding Expenses and the Path of Moderation

Shalom u'Vrachah!

It is understood, especially according to our Sages (Bava Metzia 56a beginning), that there is no limit to this. Perhaps the claim is justified in certain cases, but it is well known that our Rebbeim, our holy leaders, always followed the path of moderation. Certainly, this is also the practice among Anash in that place.
