Shalom u'Vrachah!

I received your letter from the 9th of Cheshvan in which you apologize for writing not-so-happy news. Usually, when one needs to write and postpones it from day to day, a reason eventually arises that forces one to write. However, when you write on time, when there is good news to share, and you also report then—not G‑d forbid only in the opposite case—you prevent from Above the need to employ other means that force one to write and connect one person with another.

I hope that by the time this letter reaches you, the matter about which you wrote has already been resolved for the good, and hopefully the other matters will also improve as they should, little by little. I look forward to hearing good news from you—that all is well materially and everything is well spiritually.

With blessing.

P.S. When I am at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal nishmaso Eden, I will mention all those matters about which you wrote for good health and a good livelihood.

Summary

The Rebbe teaches us to communicate regularly and share positive developments rather than waiting for challenges before reaching out. Timely correspondence helps foster blessings from Above and strengthens both material and spiritual well-being.
