מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו וכן הפ"נ שלו עם תשורתו היקרה מכתב כ"ק אדמו"ר מוהר"ש נ"ע, ות"ח ת"ח על תשורתו זו, ובטח ידוע לו מי הוא שאליו נכתב המכתב ויכתבו עד"ז בהזדמנות הבאה.
דא"ג - מ"ש בשולי המכתב בדבר התרנגולים, הנה כנראה הכוונה למכתב כ"ק אדמו"ר מוהר"ש שנכתב להרה"ג הרה"ח הרד"צ נ"ע חן ונמצא באוסף כי"ק של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע.
ולקראת השנה החדשה הבאה עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה ולברכה, הנני בזה להביע ברכתי לו ולב"ב שיחיו, ברכת כתיבה וחתימה טובה לשנה טובה ומתוקה בגשמיות וברוחניות.

I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter as well as your pan along with your precious gift—a letter from the Rebbe Maharash of blessed memory. Many thanks for this gift. Surely you know to whom the letter was addressed; write about this on another occasion.
Incidentally, regarding what you wrote in the margin about the chickens: it seems you refer to the letter of the Rebbe Maharash written to Haraha"g Haraha"ch Harad"tz of blessed memory Chen, which is found in the collection of ksav yad kodesh of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal nbg"m zy"a.
As we approach the new year that is coming upon us and all Israel for good and blessing, I hereby express my blessing to you and your household—may you be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year materially and spiritually.
