בת"ח קבלתי מכתביו מי"ג וט"ו אייר, ובנוגע להזרם הבלתי זרמי, הנה מסרתי בע"פ ע"י גיסו הרה"ח וכו' הרמ"ג שי'
... נהניתי לקרות במכ' אשר הזקן ר' זלמן שי' כ"ץ כבר נכנס לדירתו, והשי"ת יזכהו לבשר טובות תכה"י.
שלחתי לכת"ר שי' היום, מברק ע"ד ההלוי', ואחכה למכתב מפורט מהנעשה בזה, והשי"ת יעזור לנו, אז מיר זאלן אויסניצן אחד את חברו אויף גוטע פרייליכע זאכן תכה"י.
בהיותי אתמול על הציון של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, הזכרתי אותו ואת זוגתו שיחיו לבריאות הנכונה ולכל טוב בגו"ר, ואחכה ממנו לבשו"ט בזה. וכן מהנעשה עם חתנו הרה"ח מוה"ר נתן שי' שהנני דואג במקצת, שאחר המכתב שכתב לי זה איזה שבועות, לא הגיעני כל ידיעה ממנו. ויה"ר שיהי' הכל טוב בטוב הנראה ונגלה.
בברכה לבריאות הנכונה לו ולזוג' שיחיו המחכה לבשו"ט.

With thanks I received your letters from the 13th and 15th of Iyar, and regarding the non-standard current, I conveyed orally through your brother-in-law Haraha"ch etc. HaRaMG... I was pleased to read in your letter that the elder Reb Zalman Katz has already moved into his apartment, and may Hashem grant him to share good news soon.
I sent you today a telegram regarding Halevi, and I await a detailed letter about what is happening in this matter. May Hashem help us that we should utilize each other for good and joyful things soon.
Yesterday when I was at the Ohel of my father-in-law the Rebbe zatzal nishmaso Eden, I mentioned him and his wife for proper health and all good in an open and revealed way. I await good news from him about this. Also regarding what is happening with his son-in-law Haraha"ch Moreinu Reb Natan—I am somewhat concerned because after the letter he wrote me some weeks ago, I have not received any information from him. May it be G‑d's will that all will be good in an openly revealed way.
