I have just received information that the distribution of the 100,000 (f or $) is being done in such a way:... I was shocked by this news, that not only was an initially meager sum of 5,000 allocated, but now it has been reduced further to only 4,000! Some say the claim is that the number of Yemenite children in Lod is small. There are three points here: First—I am shocked and astonished that despite having knocked on their hearts several times to absorb more and more Yemenite children, apparently it was a voice in the wilderness. Second—I do not know the extent of absorption of Yemenite children in other institutions that were allocated much larger sums by comparison. Third—and this is most important—the above sums were allocated not only for children already present in the institutions but mainly to enable their future absorption. Therefore, from the outset this claim is misplaced. In practice, I am sure all necessary steps will immediately be taken to correct this matter and it will be done with proper energy and without laziness or negligence...
