It is appropriate to encourage the spirit of the aforementioned individual and explain to him that this is not the way—to be angry at the world and, so to speak, at the Creator, G‑d forbid. It is good to serve, like a servant and not like a master who serves with intellect, the Holy One blessed be He—and with joy. Ultimately, this will also bring joy into his own soul.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that true service of G‑d should be done with joy and humility rather than anger or frustration. By uplifting others and serving sincerely, one brings happiness both to oneself and those around them.
