און מיר געפינען זיך דאך בימי תשלומין זמן מתן תורתנו וואס דרכי' דרכי נועם וכל נתיבותי' שלום ומביאה שלום בעולם, און גלייכצייטיג איז זי א תורת אמת, ווייזט דעם אמת אין יעדער זאך און באלייכט עם (תורה - אור) און גיט אויך גענויע אנווייזונגען ווי צו מקיים זיין זיי במילואן, ווי זיי דארפען זיין (תורה מלשון הוראה). און אויף ביידע איז תורת החסידות מבאר בארוכה אז דאס איז חכמתו ורצונו של הקב"ה.

I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 8th of Sivan as well as the previous one. May Hashem Yisbarach help that you will be able to report good news regarding both communal and personal matters, which are interconnected. May you also have Hashem's blessing in your personal matters, with additional success through your involvement in communal affairs. You and your colleagues have merited to act for the foundation of the village and its development from its inception under the leadership of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, leader of Israel. At his holy resting place you are mentioned from time to time together with all those involved in the village who seek its welfare—for great success in village matters and great success in personal matters. May it be G‑d's will that all this should be accomplished pleasantly and peacefully, though with appropriate strength.
We are now in the days of tashlumin (the period for making up offerings) after Zman Matan Toraseinu (the time of the giving of our Torah), whose ways are pleasantness and all its paths are peace, bringing peace to the world. At the same time, it is a Torah of truth—it shows truth in every matter, illuminates it (Torah—light), and gives precise instructions on how to fulfill them completely as they should be (Torah from the word 'instruction'). Chassidus explains at length that this is the wisdom and will of Hakadosh Baruch Hu.
