...להטבת מצב בריאותו ולהצלחת טפול הרפואי עליו מסכים. ובכל אופן - ודאי הסבירו הרופא שהתייעץ אתו, שחוזק הבטחון בהשי"ת הרופא כל בשר ומפליא לעשות זהו מרבה במנוחת הנפש וממעט בדאגה ובודאי שישפיע להטבת הבריאות ולתוספת הצלחה בהטפול הרפואי. ואם בכלל הודיעונו חז"ל דהמוח שליט על הלב בטבעו, עאכו"כ לאחרי ההתבוננות בדברי תורתנו תורת חיים, ה' לי לא אירא, ה' רועי לא אחסר, ובפרט ע"פ המבואר בתורת החסידות בענין דהשגחה פרטית.
בכלל יש לעשות כהוראת רופא מומחה...

Shalom u'Vrachah!
...For the improvement of his health and the success of the medical treatment to which he agrees. In any case—the doctor with whom he consulted surely explained that strengthening one's trust in Hashem, the Healer of all flesh and Who works wonders, increases peace of mind and reduces worry, and will certainly influence improved health and greater success in the medical treatment. And if our Sages have generally informed us that the mind naturally rules over the heart, how much more so after contemplating the words of our Torah, a Torah of life: 'Hashem is with me; I will not fear,' 'Hashem is my shepherd; I shall lack nothing,' especially as explained in Chassidus regarding Divine Providence. In general, one should act according to the instructions of a medical expert...

Summary
The Rebbe teaches that strong trust in Hashem supports healing and mental calm during illness. One should also carefully follow expert medical advice while reinforcing faith through contemplation of Torah and Chassidus.
