After a pause, your letter from the 16th of Teves was received, in which you write a few lines about the farbrengen on the bright day, the day of redemption, Yud-Tes Kislev—our redemption and the redemption of our soul, Rosh Hashanah for learning Chassidus and for the ways of Chassidus. May it be G‑d's will that its impact be felt throughout all days of the year and even in practical daily life.

Regarding your writing about a school where both Kodesh studies and, separately, secular studies will be taught: In general, such matters depend on local conditions and individuals involved—there are two extremes in this: Under certain conditions our Rebbeim strongly opposed this in every way; under other specific conditions—even though they did not themselves establish such schools—they nevertheless assisted from behind the scenes. Of course, the latter was extremely rare but did happen at times. Accordingly, you should assess the situation locally and decide.

May it be G‑d's will from Hashem who promised that "one who comes to purify is assisted," that you decide according to the true nature of the matter and merit the public.

I hope preparations are being made for the yahrzeit of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe—Nasi Yisrael—and may it be G‑d's will that by then, then itself, and after the yahrzeit each individual will increase in those matters for which the Baal HaHilulah gave his life—and especially in spreading the wellsprings (until they reach) outward.
