In response to your letter from Motzaei Shabbat Parshat Lech Lecha, with its enclosure: At an auspicious time, all those you wrote about will be mentioned at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, of blessed memory. May they be blessed with a good and successful year. You and your wife should raise all your children to Torah, marriage, and good deeds, each one increasing in matters of Torah and mitzvot according to their standing—especially in the mitzvah you are most careful with. To my fellow Temimim in Pittsburgh.

Regarding your question about how it is possible to say "like a servant before his master and even more so," since after all he is still an independent entity—in fact, even more so is the view of those who say tzimtzum is literal and explain that this is within the power of the Omnipotent One Who can do anything.
